With a deep interest in the sciences and a gift for the arts, I found that dentistry is a perfect fit for me to do both and with an added opportunity to put a smile on my patients’ faces every day!
I grew up in the “Silicon Valley” of India, Bangalore.
I have been practicing dentistry since 2006. I completed my Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S) and Masters in Dental Surgery – Periodontology (M.D.S) from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. I came to the USA in 2012 to join my husband and completed my Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) from Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, University of the Pacific. We have since called San Francisco our home.
The guiding principle of my practice has been “to ensure that my dental work should serve my patients in the same way as their original teeth or better”. I value open communication and work to establish a mutual feeling of trust and comfort with everyone I have an opportunity to take care of. I prioritize patient education and ensure that each patient feels empowered to make the best choices for themselves. I strive for thorough and thoughtful care, with a focus on prevention and long-term oral health.
To provide the best for my patients I continually educate myself on the latest techniques and approaches to offer my patients advanced, highest-quality, most personalized, and comfortable dental care.
I am a member of the California Dental Association (CDA), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the San Francisco Dental Society (SFDS).
Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my husband, Amit, and my son Kabir. Together, we love going to the beach and building sandcastles, enjoying all the local parks of San Francisco and the Bay Area. My son and I also love playing sous chefs to our “home chef” – my husband.
